How to create a points-based challenge?

Would you like to create a challenge whose results are calculated from a points system?You must first create an indicator based on challenge results, then associate it with the challenge.

Step 1: Access the challenge

From your dashboard, go to the Performance menu, then click on Challenges.
Select the relevant challenge and click Edit.

Step 2: Create an indicator

Click on Create an indicator.
From the list of available data sources, select Challenge Results.

Step 3: Choose the indicator type

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, then select Points.
This type of indicator tallies the total points earned by a user in the challenge.

Step 4: Configure the calculation method

After filling in the basic settings of the indicator, go to the Calculation section.
In the field Use total gains from the following challenge, select the challenge whose results will be used for the indicator calculation.
Then choose the results calculation mode:

• Sum: adds up all points earned.
• Average: calculates the average of points earned.

Once configuration is complete, save your indicator.It can then be used to track results for your points-based challenge.
