How to set a target for an indicator?

Would you like to compare an indicator's results against a target? You can configure a target directly from the indicator settings.

Step 1: Access the dashboard

From your dashboard, go to the Performance menu, then select the relevant dashboard.

Step 2: Access the indicator

Open the Activities tab, then click on the indicator for which you want to set a target.

Step 3: Enable target comparison

Scroll down the page to the Comparison section. In this section, enable the option Compare score to a target.

Step 4: Choose the display mode

You can then select the comparison display mode from the following options:

  • Absolute: displays the variance between the achieved score and the target as a value.
  • Relative %: displays the variance relative to the target as a percentage.
  • Gauge %: graphically represents the target completion rate as a gauge.
  • Positive gauge %: displays a gauge highlighting progress toward the target when the score is positive.

Once the display mode is selected, enter your target value, then save your changes. The indicator will now display results in comparison with the defined target.
